9" LCD with NTSC input
Does anyone know of a cheap source for a 9" LCD screen that accepts a NTSC composite input? I recently got a Zenith DTT900 and I'm currently trying to make it into a portable digital TV. I already have figured out the power supply (replace the existing AC power supply with a Li+ battery pack and some high efficiency voltage regulators), sound (small speaker with amplifier and a headphone jack), and antenna, so I just need to find a cheap source for the screen and the plans will be complete.

Portable DVD players can be an option. I bought an Insignia 10.2" portable DVD player off ebay for $30 with RCA inputs. It was "broken" but the only thing broken was the lid. The native res of the screen is 800x480 (internals should handle 640x480).

That's a source I thought about, but do all portable DVD player LCDs accept NTSC? That was the case for a 5" Panasonic I had. And I also prefer to buy locally so I can actually see the item.

Not all do, which is the problem, you have to find a good cheap one then scour the internet to see if it does take NTSC. I know the one I mentioned did after researching and were very common at the time (6 months ago-ish).

I'd love to be able to use this Video Picture Frame for a NTSC monitor! Any ideas on that hack? It's a Westinghouse 7".
