A Rite Aid Camera model 410
Sorry if there is another post about this but I didn't find any, but I'm still looking. Anyways, I got a Rite Aid Camera (blue Model 410) and it worked until now. It just beeps 3 times when I connect or try and turn it on. The computer can still detect it when I plug it in but I can't get the drivers to work. Can someone help me with the drivers? I installed the Win Libsub drivers but it can't find it.

Uh..three beeps means bootloader mode, check the "Legal Method" to get it out of bootloader mode.

Well I got a little farther. I think I had a pin wrong. I seen someone else who had a 410 model like mine had it wired a little different. It is connected but I get errors when i do just about anything. ZAC mentioned something about C2R to someone with the same model. I am new to this (if you can't tell), and my camera is still doing the 3 beeps when I plug it in to try and turn it on. Well the whole point of shorting is to get the CR (the "key" to the cameras "lock"). Since burningmankeys came out last week (search for it) you don't need to even open the camera. 3 beeps basically means your camera is in bootloader mode and you'll need to find a good copy of the firmware, there was a yahoo groups that did have a few *wink wink* but it got taken down. bobbarker, so how do I figure out my Firmware number and type ID? I think the Type ID is 2B but I could be wrong.

VNP Press and hold shutter, & display while pressing and releasing the on/off button.

I found what VNP means and tried it. I held the shutter button (the button used to take a picture is what i think you mean) and the display button and pressed and released on/off but all it does is the 3 beeps and nothing is displayed.

BECAUSE YOUR IN BOOTLOADER MODE......Until you do the following your camera is useless. Buy another camera unlock it with Burningman & PV2tools, and revive the other one using the reserection method. (link above)

I finally found burning man. I was trying to use the Hex out put I get when I click Unlock. I guess I need burningman v2 (saw it in the forums) but I can't find it. Or maybe I am doing something wrong.
