A suggestion of a multi-purpose driver
Hi! I have a suggestion for those who are tinkering with drivers for Saturn cams, Can I suggest something - Why not develops a driver that will serve all purposes - put cams into webcam that can be used with many apps such as webcam servers and videoconferencing and the same driver can be used with OPS to do various functions such as formatting and retieving videos as well as mass storage device. That is my suggestion since I saw one that requires switching drivers and can be a nusince if you have to switch between the two too frequently.

A nice MTP driver for videos might be a good idea (and has been proposed). We could even integrate unlocking code. Is there anyone working on this?

thing is......that webcam mode and "camcorder device" mode are two separate functions and can NOT coexist...it would have to be switched to one mode or another...requiring two different sections of code. that isn't the problem...the problem is that it would require a userland switch to activate the two different segments of code.
