Aftermath of a full speed head-on collision
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2018441333 Perhaps only by the grace of God is everyone alive that was involved in this crash. I've never before seen (and probably never will again) three helicopters get called to a single crash scene. I didn't film the first two choppers since obtaining video is my bottom priority. There were so many fire and EMS on the scene, however, that I ended up having few responsibilities until all victims were evac'd. Think about this video the next time you put the pedal on the floor. *** *** *** *** *** Shot with a Rite-Aid model 230 and edited with Movie Maker.

Good lord that's a hell of a wreck!! Any ideas who was speeding and how fast were they going.

Sparkster- 03-29-2007

Speeds are unknown right now, but consider this: even if we assume that each car was doing 55, it's like driving 110 MPH into an immovable object.

How many people were involved?

Sparkster- 03-29-2007

Three, I believe. There were an abundance of emergency workers cutting the cars open- I couldn't really see much.

Everyone should have a $19 sale priced m230 in their glove box! Even if they don't have a cable or know how to use OPS. If anyone has taken some special videos and needs help - please post the details on this forum. I think it is illegal to actually process their videos for them, but hacking education should never be considered against the law. Great to see law enforement using these cams! 8)

It would be a trademark infringment if you tried to make it sound like you were affiliated with either Pure Digital, or one of their customers, though. Also, I suspect that if you turned it into a cottage industry, you would get sued. For most people, that would be enough to stop it.
