Book shelf some photos of a book shelf i made to house my newly aquired National Geographic collection. it's just various plywoods and some 2x4s i stripped into the brace peices.
the more washed out pics are taken with a red PV2 and converted in RawVB, the other two are from my normal 2mp digital camera

really though, my school's campus library is about to do renovations and they're clearing out all the books that don't get checked out for a long time. i like national geographic and thought it was a shame to waste all those issues, especially when it's so nicely hardbound

added some photos of it now in my bedroom and loaded with the books, beleive it or not, there is not any more room for books in the case, but they all fit. how's that for good design?
