camcorder strapped onto my dirt micro sprint car
With all of teh help from you guys i got all of my problems worked out it turns out the 5 foot usb cord that came with teh palm pilot cable is way to long. i had it shorted to around 1.5 feet and it works great. I did a couple -*test*-('") runs to find out different times for different set ups. Cvs camcorder settings 640x480 resolution and 1024 ultra high got 8.5 minutes 640x480 resolution and 512…superhigh (m225 default) got 18:49 640x480 resolution and 384…high got 19 minutes 640x480 resolution and 256…med (rca default) got 30:39 640x480 resolution and 127…low (otu default) got 24.20 576x432 resolution and 512…superhigh (m225 default) got 32 minutes 576x432 resolution and 1024…ultrahigh got 27 minutes I looked at that chart i made durring the weekend and set it differently for each race like the one at teh top for practice since i only need around 5 minutes and so on for the heat i need 15 and feature need around 20. i mounted it in front of me behind my rock gaurd on top of my computer. i just but a folded up rag ontop of the computer and wiretied it with 2 wireties to the frame. it was stirdy and i could put the laptop on teh hood and fish the cable threw the rock gaurd.
