Can not change camera settings Perhaps this should be posted in the applications section, but I am having trouble changing the camera settings in OPS .21. I know in the past I have changed the camera settings, but now when I try I get the following:
change to directory / failed
failure to change to directory /
Thanks for any help you can give

can't change camera settings You can change camera changes except to writing the default challenge/response back to the camera. I've updated a version of OPS 22 to be able to do this.

Where do I find a copy of OPS 22? I looked on sourceforge, but it only lists 21.
Also, one odd thing - this used to work, I have changed it before. Now it does not. I have tried this on two different cameras (both I can unlock).

I'm in the same predicament with OPS 23 (and OPS21, incidentally).
Camera revision 53.14
Using guy fawks/burning man call/response file saved as "saturnkey.txt" in the OPS directory.
Working: unlocking, downloading of video, downloading of flash, formatting of storage.
"View/Change Cam Settings" gives this error:
failed at 0xfe, retrieving firmware revision
change directory to / failed
Failure to change to directory /
very similar error when I try to enable mass storage.
Any thoughts?
(Also, thanks so much to everybody involved in all of this.)

okay, checklist:
does it unlock correctly?
have you used the same cable?
plugged into the same machine?
front or rear ports?
have you updated your installation?
changed libusb versions?
do other camcorders work with it?
do you also use a OTU camera with it?

I can't speak for dupeduperson, but I've never gotten it to work, so much of that checklist doesn't apply to me but here goes:
does it unlock correctly?
Yes, through saturnkey.txt file
have you used the same cable?
only one cable, seems to work fine for downloading video
plugged into the same machine?
always, winXP running through VMWare on a mac
front or rear ports?
Both ports give same errors.
have you updated your installation?
I've tried with OPS21 and OPS23
changed libusb versions?
no, been using v. 0.1.10.1
(it looks like 0.1.12.1 is available, too. I'll try that out later this evening and report my results)
do other camcorders work with it?
none tried
do you also use a OTU camera with it?
"OTU"? i've only tried my one camera.
So I'll see how updating libusb-win32 works for me. Otherwise i might try ops for linux. I'll post to this thread whatever happens.
Thanks
