Cant find camera
Ok, ive got the model 200, and when i connect it after soldering the wires to the pin thingies, when i connect, i get some information from libUSB, so i know its soldered correctly, maby. but when i try to use ops for linux of windows, it cant seem to find the camera. any the camera turns on when i connect it to the computer, and stays on past its auto sleep limit.

Check continuity.
You know that you probably got the positive and negative connections soldered correctly, but I think the jury is still out on the signal lines. Test from one end of the cable all of the way through the cable. I would use a voltmeter or other contraption to -*test*-('") continuity on the other leads. The Camera will power on when power is applied to the power leads, even without batteries installed. It is probably a bad connection on a signal line. When you can find and connect, you probably have it right. :wink:
