Can't get drivers installed on laptop CVS Camcorder
Ok..I installed Ops21 on my desktop and it is working fine. I am trying to install on my laptop but the drivers will not load or can I find them. It recognizes the saturn device however I cannot manually point to the driver nor can I find it. I am running Win XP Pro on the laptop. I don't understand what I could be doing wrong as I installed it ok on my desktop. sometimes it helps to have several other inputs to solve my problem. I am sure it is something simple but I can't get it to work. I appreciate any help, something I overlooked perhaps?

I did find the 2 drivers libusb0.dll and libusb0.sys. I wasn't sure which one to point to when Windows found the device but it is sort of working now. My 230 camera works on my desktop gut hangs and cannot display the directory nor change or view settings on my laptop now. My other cameras (200 I believe) seem to work fine on the laptop. It is odd that the Ops 21 and the 230 camera work just great on thedesktop but have problems on the laptop. any other ideas?

Here is some more history on my problem with the model 230 on my laptop. I connected, opened and unlocked the camcorder using OPs 21 and then I tried to view the "View/Change Cam Settings". I got the following error: "Your configuration file failed a sanity check. It's probably in an unknown format. Aborting" Then I tried to open the camera again and I received the following errors: Failed at )xfc retrieving firmware version and Failed 0xfc write (set response read index) and also Failed to retrieve challenge key. Now this camera opens and works fine on my desktop PC running Win XP Home but not on my laptop running Win XP Pro. Also, my model 200 camcorders seem to work ok on both machines. Thoughts?

Same here desktop drivers work, laptop doesn't
I am having pretty much the same problem. The drivers work fine on my desktop, but when I tried getting everything hooked up on my laptop I am not able to install the drivers. When the new hardware wizard pops up, I browse for the folders in the Camcorderkit 21 folder, but apparently none of the appropriate files types are recognized so the the OK button never turns on - it stays greyed out. I even tried pointing to all of the subfolders individually, but none of them activate the OK button. I also tried to copy the folder lacation into the field instead of browsing. When I do this I get an error saying that files cannot be found in that location. Any ideas? I am on XP. Thanks.

I know this is an old topic, but if you are not finding out how to hit the OK button, try using the quick install from sourceforge. https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=145193&package_id=163302
