can't open camcorder in ops 20
I installed the usb cable corectly and all, but ops 20 can't find the camcorder. is ops 20 the right programe?

Are you sure Windows recognizes it? Check under device manager for LibUSB devices...

Go to device manager and find libusb. Open the saturn and uninstall the driver. Then unplug and plug back in your camcorder. Point window to your INF file for a driver. If you are using camcorderkit20, it should be in drivers>libusb>bin

Thanks guys, I installed the cvs quike installer and I was able to do every thing. The only thing I can't do is whatch the vid. Windows media player can't, what player should I use?

You need the XviD codec (DivX works). www.oldversion.com has older versions of DivX, I recomend one of the 5.xx ones cause the 6 ones don't work well...

I think Winamp will play them once you install the Hali Codecs. Not sure if the codecs are needed, but I know that it plays like that on my system.

Get MediaPlayerClassic too, Xvid 1.1.0 and the free Divx release. I have the la-*test*-('") and never got issue. Be sure to install FFdshow too, so you can change the FOURCC association of your video (eg: decode a Divx with Xvid codecs or viceversa OR with independant codec embedded in FFdshow).

Hooking up to mcu
Anyone connect a microcontroller up to the record button and record remotely? I am thinking of using an RF link to be able to turn the camera on/off remotely.
