Digital picture frame hacking?
I have a digital picture frame with a Cheertek CT955A. Any information about hacking it? It has video playback so I think it must be a fairly powerful processor. Since it has USB host, I would like to be able to plug in a USB network adapter and use the picture frame as a stats display for the various PCs on the LAN.

I have similar needs to use my Dynex 9", Model DX-DPF9 as a video monitor. Any way to convert composite video to feed this picframe through the USB port? I'm very new at this- I can't even figure out how to "download" pictures from the picframe back onto the USB flashdrive from which they came. Instructions only cover uploading pics, or deleting pics. While I'm at it, any way to plug my USB webcam into the picframe to use as a webcam monitor? When I plug it in, the frame says, "Loading", but never does.

Never mind. The POS released the magic smoke, and for no good reason! I haven't even taken it apart yet! Just smoked. I hate when that happens.
