Driver for RED DokotaDigital Lcd Screen Camera
Does anyone have the software to get this red dokotadigital camera with the lcd screen have the drivers too? I've plugged it in and it asks for the driver and stuff please help thanks.

the driver is basically the one provided by libusb. You need to create an inf file which serves as a frontend to libusb... basically telling it which usb devices to handle. There are instructions to do this in the howto's of this website. (In particular, the camcorder driver install works exaclty the same way)

how can you view these files that are extracted from the camera? there in raw files i use irfanview and they come up like not the picture is there a reason for this? I got it so now I can download the pictures but I can't view them. How come?

If you are working with RAW's, there are a couple of programs that can handle them. RawGL, and another that I'm not as familiar with. Alternately, you can try to get a copy of the FlatFoto2 drivers from RadioShack. (not the web version - the actual CD-ROM version). These drivers will let you use any TWAIN compliant app to extract pictures. They work very well - and simplify the process greatly. I gave my parents two PV2's, and used the FF2 driver on their computer.
