Forgive My ignorance, but I've always thought that the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. (If you want to avoid a brick) RayM P.S. my 53.05s operate in mass storage mode if I first unlock and send the monitor command.

P.S. my 53.05s operate in mass storage mode if I first unlock and send the monitor command. try just plugging it in and pressing delete once, and wait like 3 seconds.

even when dealing with other technical people, is that all of your thought train may not be obvious to others. Hell, mine ain't even obvious to me... my thought train jumped the tracks ages ago.

Damn right 'pyro! I'm lucky due to the identical twin as off-site backup!...makes up for the shared b'days... Sorry o Shining Orb, I know this has veered off-topic  i would ask you for the programmatic values for a 53.18, but am determined to find them myself. my first vid from a mass storage 53.18 access (thru monitor command) has your blue iris in it on my workstation monitor...

what does a boot sector of a lockfreed and massdugged 53.14 look like? wouldnt it be possible to just copy that and paste it onto a 53.18's bot sector using a disk editor? we edited the boot sector of a 53.05 to get it to work, so i thought maybe....

Like 53.14, when you send a 53.18 the correct monitor cmd, it is found under Windows as a volume called "no_name". What is needed is the correct firmware addresses to plug into lockfree and massdugg. I'm working on it, but have work and personal (close relative just diagnosed w/ stage 4 brain tumor) issues that must take precedence.) if you send a 531,8 the following monitor cmd: to quote brite-eye "You must have at least 1 video on camcorder for the delete key method to work! For a 53.18 using just an OPS monitor command: wl 8005e198 0x080178b4 Then press delete and wait past 3 second confirmation." see forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=6415" target="_blank">http://camerahacks.10.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=6415

(close relative just diagnosed w/ stage 4 brain tumor) oh. hope it goes well.

(close relative just diagnosed w/ stage 4 brain tumor) I'd recommend finding a B.E.S.T. practitioner nearby and getting your relative's body alkaline by what they eat (at LEAST 75% vegetables and fruits and no more than 25% everything else) and by changing what they think. Be (and feel deep down) thankful and grateful for everything especially for the desired outcome (perfectly healthy brain tissue) as if it were already received. Whatever you do don't focus on or pray about the undesired diagnosis because every thought is a prayer and every prayer is answered. By focusing on the cancer (no matter if combined with "please take away" or "don't give me" or the like), more cancer will be received. So again, pray with thankfulness for that which is desired as if it has already been received. Given the proper conditions, the power that made the body can and will heal the body. Since the next Health Weekend is not till February you probably will want to stuff their stocking now with some of Dr. Morter's books, videos, and audios. Since the other members of this forum probably would like for you to be able to have more time for camera hacking, I expect we all can take at least a few moments to picture in our mind, with strong thankfulness, your relative enjoying perfect health. By doing so with such strong emotion that we feel goosebumps from our head to our toes, surely their healing will be even faster.

Thanks for the suggestions and kind thoughts. While it might be easy for us rational technologists to believe in an encapsulated, mechanistic universe, where thought is merely an electrochemical reaction in a ball of cells floating in a electrolytic solution*8, quantum mechanics argues otherwise. Else why would my twin e-mail me the evening we got the news (the person is on my wife's side of the family) and ask if anything was wrong, stating he just had a feeling something bad had happened? The iron-willed determination to achieve the desired result, and the ability to see only that goal - often objectified by something like "I will climb El Capitan" "I will win the Tour de France 7 times) is what allowed people like Lance Armstrong to defeat a similar probable...umm... unfavorable outcome. I think he should vow to drive his dream car Porsche Boxster - bought 2 years ago - again. There is also a whole convent of nuns praying for him - so he's got that going for him - which is good (to paraphrase Caddyshack) ** Screw that baby, we're more than mere Meat Puppets. Gee you folks got more of Oisin's philosophy than you bargained for,eh?
