entertaining the idea of creating a driver for saturn
well, i was playing around with the thought in my head, and i decided that i'll start work on making a permutatioin of the ops/avidownload code into a module that makes the device appear as a usb mass storage device . only p0 will be accessible, no folder creation but file upload/download/deletion facilities will exist. it shouldn't be that hard... unfortunately , i absolutely do not want to delve into making a windows driver. sorry, guys. anyone think this will be worthwhile?

That's what forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1254>Ceres is. I don't know if it works on the newer models, but it should if the key is reset. Only for us win23 folks, so far... :D

Yeah I only think mass storage happened on M200 or 3.xx cams....one of the two.

nono, i know there is no mass storage functionality in the newer cameras...what i'm proposing is an emulation layer, to translate between the normal mass storage interface to the camera's firmware interface

Gotcha. Sounds like a good idea. All that would really need done is a nice .dll to put in to the windows shell...like the Gmail Drive.

well, i'd be doing a linux module...i don't do dll programming at all...
