Evening time lapse I brought my camcorder to the roof at work to watch the sky go by. Here's what I got after speeding it up in Windows Movie Maker: http://www.geofffox.com/MT/archives/2007/06/29/a_little_time_lapse_from_my_30_little_camcorder.php
Next time I'll try and stretch the record time, come a few minutes earlier and find a night when the clouds are moving a little more quickly.

If you had a laptop you could do the whole webcam bit + a program for doing time lapse.
Never could get the framerate down to 1FPS for really space-saving time lapses :D
In your area do you think the cam would be able to do a stars time lapse? I've got a bit too much light pollution from the local amusement park 500 yd. behind me :(

That location, Downtown New Haven, CT is much too bright. I live in the country where I can take star photos. However, I doubt this camera is quiet enough, with its small pixel count, to be used.
