Find Fresh Food, Flowers, Film For "Free"
Ya'll come to Texas (or maybe Louisana and Mexico) and grab groceries "gratis". HEB grocery stores have started up their freshness guarantee after having discontinued it for several years. For each unique item you find that is expired, they will give you a fresh item free without you having to buy anything. All you pay is your time. You may also have to pay in the form of aches and pains if you "shop" a lot. Some of what you find may also be "junk food" which the surgen general should warn against. Always be fair by leaving the store neater than it was before you got there. NEVER "unrotate" or hide items that you want to get later. Even if their security cameras and employees don't catch you, God/karma will. Be friendly to all customers and employees. Anything with a date on it is fair game, with the possible exception of alcohol and tobacco. If you get good at it and start finding hundreds or thousands of dollars worth of stuff per week, just think of all the OTU cameras you can buy with the money saved. Feel free to donate your excess loot to the needy or the rich if you like. You'd better post a video of the latter.

mmmm....expired spam

Geeze the grocery store I used to work out would go broke if they did that. I pulled carts and carts worth of food off the shelves after I started working there. We had a cart full of loaves of bread and got bored in the back and me and a friend had a bread fight and started beating each other with loaves of bread until the bags started busting and bread flew everywhere! Fun!

Rumor (the word of one checker at one HEB store) has it that the Freshness Guarantee may be expiring. :( I suppose that's ok because now I can plant a garden and start eating more healthy food. Not to mention that I will be able to clean up the clutter of groceries I don't use such as beer and cereal and corn oil that have overrun my living room. I guess I may never experience the challenge of hauling off a free two hundred pound wheel of free Parmesan cheese since it doesn't expire till September.
