libusb or win xp sp2? help!
Yea, Im not a newbie to this you all know me, but right now I feel like one of larry the cable guys retarded children. I have a clean copy of XP runnin and Im trying to install the drivers and ops on my machine again but I keep getting an error that saturn.inf does not contain information about my hardware (camera) I have even tried pointing it at the .dll file, no good. I even tried both of the auto installers, no good. Even tried installing libusb seperatly just for the hell of it, again , no good. WTF? Am I really as retarded as I feel right now or is there a simple explanation for this thanks

what version of ops are you using and what model cam? Use the quick installer for OPS which contains the usb driver you need. As long as you're not using a model 100 cam you should be all set.

the problem is in windows I believe, I had to format my machine and re-install everything. Keeps saying the specified location does not contain information about the hardware. I have pointed it at the saturn.inf as well as the .dll Argh

I have SP2 and mine installed just fine. Makle sure Libusb is installed first and then try installing the inf for the camcorder.

i had it installed on my last installation no problem, I cant figure out what the hell the issue is now! damn!

add remove programs
Go into the control panel add / remove programs and remove the libusb program. Then rerun the install and you should be fine...

If you ever watched carlos mencia, I deserve the De de de award! Come on say it DE DE DE!!!!! I forgot my front panel usb ports are not usb 2.0, Only the ones on the back of the machine. Dont ask why they are like that, cause I dunno. But everything is working now and im back up and running. Thanks again for all the helpful advise!!! And agian! DE DE DE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had it working on mine but i think my virus program thinks its a hack program and removed it.
