Massdugg and Lockfree Applications
First things first. I take no responsibility for anyone's bricked cam. You have my permission to redistribute this source and modify it as you wish. The only thing i ask is that anyone who does distribute this includes the name of the original authors. These people would be daBass' for his Cvs-*test*-('") application (which some code is used in these), brite_eye for his contribution of code, and me (Duggasco) who compiled this code. These are the executable files for the 53.14 firmware that will result in a permanent unlock and mass storage mode when run under a command prompt. These are currently only for the 53.14 firmware! Instructions for executing these are as follows: 1. Run OPS, open, unlock, download flash option unknown/sdram, exit/close OPS. 2. Open windows start menu, go to run, and type in cmd. 3. Drag the executable into the command prompt, and watch the magic happen. To work the mass storage mode, click the delete button once. Press the button a second time to delete a movie like usual. PD goofed up mass storage on 53.12s - probably accidentally rather than by willful intent. It requires extra software on a 53.12: forumer.com/viewtopic.php?p=43205#43205" target="_blank">http://camerahacks.10.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?p=43205#43205 Simply searching for code patterns (using instructions without addresses) can quickly reveal the proper offsets for both unlock and mass storage patches. But there may need to be some tweaks for the smaller block flash on earlier models before m230. Are there any other members capable of identifying the patch locations on a 53.12?

i take it all this does NOT work on the 53.14 with Blue Stickers, or does it?

Once you have it unlocked, yes it should work.

This application does not unlock the m230 53.14 cameras in the same fashion as OPs. With these applications, the firmware is overwritten so that the camera is permanently unlocked and mass storage mode allows you to open the camera through any PC.

Ya and I just sold 3 others for $45...go figure. They are a bunch of non believers. I think I will end the auction and repost with a video link showing how it works.

Massdugg has only worked for me 1 time. Everytime I try now nothing happens. What gives?

make sure you have a vid on the camera. I had the same problem until I figured it out
