Model 410 firmware 6600 cvs red problems in Windows I have a red CVS model 410 with firmware 6600. I installed libus-wind32 version 1.12 and finally got that to work with ops21 for use with the CVS camcorders. However, I can't this 410 to work with this version of libusb. I would imagine I'm doing something stupid (like that hasn't happened before?? :) ). I have pv2tool version 2.19, and it doesn't have an executable for libusb version 1.12. In addition, I downloaded a copy of the .inf file from this forum, then added the stuff up to pid 30. When I plug the camera in, Windows wants the driver so I point it to that .inf file. Then it says the following 3 files weren't found:
- libusbfl.sys
- libusbis.exe
- libusbst.sys
Additionally, I have run a search for each of these files and they aren't anywhere on my PC.
Surely I have missed something, but what? :)
I wanted to do this because I want to try the how-to for unlocking it via the shorting of 2 pins method. The way I read that how-to, it indicates the camera must be found first, and it won't be found until the driver is loaded.
Now that everyone officially knows I'm stupid, can anyone help me? :)
Thanks in advance :)

revert to version .10
Thanks, ZAC. I removed version.12 via add/remove programs, then ran the filter install for version .10. When it first started it said it couldn't find libusb0.dll, so I found it in the version .10 bin folder and copied it to the Windows folder. I also saw a libusb0.sys in the same folder so I copied it to Windows/system32.
OPS21 starts, but it can't find the model 230 or model 200 video cameras. I haven't tried again to "fix" the model 410 digital camera since I also have to have Ops21 working for the camcorders as well.
Any ideas? :)
EDIT: Yes, I was running ops21 for libusb .10. Aslo, I just tried the model 410 digital camera again and it still cannot find the 3 files mentioned above.
EDIT: SUCCESS!!!! I had a bad copy of libusb0.dll in one of the system folders. Replaced it with the one from the libusb version .10 bin directory.
Both camcorders work fine!! AND -- the digital camera works!!! I used the legal pin shorting method from the how-to's and was able to have the camera download raw images, delete images and take a picture!! I'll work now on the raw image processing, and see what happens after the camera sets for a while.
In the meantime, THANKS ZAC!!! And THANKS to everyone who made this entire process possible!! :) :) :)
