Probably doesn't allow linking from outside sources. Nice paint job, what'd you do? Spraypaint or airbrush or something even fancier?

No nothing fancy. just used Krylon equiptment yellow. the Radioactive Placard was printed off my color printer and the black text was from my Dymo P-Touch using clear lables. I had to tape off the screen in the back and removed the buttons and view finder. I also cut the back sticker out with a razor blade and only left the ready, display screen, on/off, delelete and display parts then taped over them. you will notice I forgot to remove the shutter button now its yellow. I was wondering if anybody had taken the guts from one of these cameras and put them into older camera . I have an old Kodak Brownie and thought it might be cool.

A transplant has crossed my mind with the saturn. I had an old BetaMax camera from 1984 I thought of putting it in, but all those screws...well....it's in pieces it's not sposed to be in....

BTW, it is a federal crime to use the radioactive symbol on something that is not radioactive... A local store was selling surplus radioactive material disposal bags for trick-or-treat bags. Some douchebag complained. Brouhaha made the evening news.

Ive seen the radioactive simbol sold on the net and placed on the sides of computers, sportsware, Homer Simpson and even winsheld stickers. I would hope that if somone saw this they would not be so stupid to think that a $20 camera was anything but a $20 camera with a cool paint job. John

A local store was selling surplus radioactive material disposal bags for trick-or-treat bags. This gives me an idea for a pumpkin carving design...

I made a pumpkin that was throwing up all over the sidewalk...it was pretty cool. Used the innards as barf...ahh...fun times.

I just checked the fit of the circuit board of my 400 with the front of the Kodak brownie and its a no go. seems I will need to find a camera body with an offset lens if I want to try it. John

The circuit board should fit in a Hasselblad...

BTW, it is a federal crime to use the radioactive symbol on something that is not radioactive... Simple fix: paint a little weak solution of uranyl acetate mixed with elmer's glue on an inaccessible portion of the object. Or stuff the dial of an old radium dial wristwatch in it. Remember to was your hands afterwards ...
