My styrofoam aerial case and a couple of videos
Just wanted to share my recent uses for my camera.. I made a styrofoam case like so: So that I could put it on my Easy Star, like so: And here are a couple of videos I made! The first is actually my first aerial video. The highlight is the part with the kids running away from my plane! It's here: http://media.putfile.com/First-Aerial-Video-39 The other is a pretty neat night-time driving video set to music. I just used strapping tape to secure my camera outside the moonroof! It's at http://media.putfile.com/Night-Drive-24. Hope you enjoy. I've got more movies to edit I hope to add soon.

Wow that is nice, have you done a \"crash -*test*-('")?\" I wanna see how it holds out. Just curious/

Yes, I've definitely crashed it and gotten the video to save. But I've also had super smooth landings that didn't save!!! You can't see it in the picture, but the battery connector isn't secured very well and easily pops out, cutting power to the camera, which shuts it down from saving that current recording. The problem has gotten worse as the wires are getting more loose, and I had one whole day of losing just about every video I took because the connector popped out. I'm working on a fix so it won't happen again!

If you download the partition flash image with the videos on it, you can recover those videos that don't save. As long as you don't record anymore (or delete anything) you can get it back. I've done it once and I got a great video back.

Wrap the thing around with tape a few times, or wire, thats how I got my entire cam to stay on my bike once,... hehe. try that.

The ESCs puts out 5V for the RX and the servos so you can use a servo cable on a spare channel and solder it to the camera USB pads or put the oppropriate USB conenctor to mate with your camera USB connector. I use two cables for my set up. One for power and the other for the data. Greg
