Old camcorder into projector

Old camcorder into projector
I have an old sony handycam and another old camcorder just collecting dust and was wondering if anyone thought it could be possible to make one into a projector? I don't think it is possible but just wanted to find out.

i bet it is possible but i don't know how, try googleing it or looking on a diy website. i know you can make a video ipod a projector but i don't know how to do that

Best you might be able to do is play video on it and point the viewfinder at a wall and watch very very very dim video...that's reversed. You'll have to be <12" from the wall. It's a neat 'trick' but nothing else.

Break out those night vision goggles... it'll be dim no more...good luck, all your going to get is whiteness from the backlight, the actual LCD is not strong enough to broadcast with an external backlight, you'd have to place it behind the LCD which will be diffucult and get those panels that spread light to equally distribute the light, and it still be hard to see
