One-Click Setup

Thank you ry for the incredable program (one step). everything went great until I got to the end and tried to unlock my 230. I recieved a message saying... Checking if the Reset key matches the challenge Last ditch attempt. challenge=response, but trying a regular unlock anyway. failed to unlock camcorder Failed to unlock camcorder with key retrieved from memory! Sorry, your camcorder can not be unlocked with any known method. I pray you have a solution for this and I thankyou for all your work on this site. I look forward to posting some extreme 3D flying videos as soon as I can. If you need any more info, please let me know.

Take a look at my response to your PM, and try that first. The problem you are having that your cam needs to be unlocked. OCS (unfortunatly) only can set up the drivers and software for you. So, no need to re-run OCS

You are the MAN! I made a mistake in my placement of a file and after your wonderful guidense, The camera unlocked for me. The only problem is my videos are all garbled or have sound only. I am using Windows media player. Is there a setting I need to adjust or did I bust something in the instilation process? There are three OPS prgrams in my OPS folder and the only one that does not error is the 0.1.10.1. Thankyou again for all your help and this wonderful program. You should be in the camera hackers hall of fame!

only problem is my videos are all garbled or have sound only. You just gave me an idea. I should have OCS ask to download the Xvid Codec. Try either http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/ or http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml to download to fix that. There are three OPS prgrams in my OPS folder and the only one that does not error is the 0.1.10.1. Yep, that is normal. The different versions are for different builds of LibUSB. Thankyou again for all your help and this wonderful program. You should be in the camera hackers hall of fame! I just remembered a quote I saw once. Same Problem
I seem to be having the same problem as crazy christian. I have a rite aid 230 FW 53.12 I ran OCS 0.6 seemingly successfully. Windows noticed a saturn...eventually the drivers were loaded as camcorder. When I run OPS v.20 I get the following: Found the camcorder: Pure Digital Inc. Saturn , VID:167B PID:0101 Found camcorder. Connected to camcorder. Nothing you did wrong. The 53.12 is hackable by an umentionable process that we only can discuss in PM's :wink:

I've not been around here lately. Came back when it was time to install Ops on a new computer. Tried one-step and it didn't work correctly. After the Driver Install window opened, it opened a IE window to the Microsoft XP SR2 license page and nothing worked afterwards. I could install libsub manually from that point, but the installer was hung. Running XP Pro SP2.

Thank you for the One-Click Setup it worked like a charm my computer now sees the camcorder. But when I run OPS and hit Open Camcorder I get the following error pop-up "Ops MFC Appication has encountered a problem" What am I doing wrong here?? Help please. Alan P.S. I am using 0.6

Which OPS/LibUSB version are you using? (ie. Ops_libusb-0.1.10.1)

I ran One-Click Setup 0.6. In "My Documents" a file was created called "one-click setup" in that file under the camcorder in the ops file there are 3 Ops listed. The only one that gives me an Ops menu is Ops_libusb-0.1.8.0. The other two come up with an error as soon as they are clicked. Thanks for the help. Alan
