PePLink Surf 200BG In searching the web it doesn't appear that anyone is working on hacking this device.
I purchased one from someone who no longer needed it since Earthlink is getting out of the Municipal Wi-Fi business. I'd like to re-configure it to use with another provider, but it seems to use encrypted config files.
It has quite a few jumpers and -*test*-('") points as well as two 12 pin headers, one 10 pin header, and a place to install a 9 pin header. One of these is probably a Jtag or serial port, but I don't know how to determine which it is nor do I have experience connecting to a Jtag port.
The CPU and Ethernet switch are an Micrel integrated System-on-Chip, part number KSZ8695P, using Micrel's 166 MHz ARM9 processor.
The wireless adapter is a WLM54G Mini PCI which uses an Atheros chipset.
It has a Spansion S29GL064M90TAIR4 FLASH chip and a place to install a second one to allow booting from two firmware images.
It has 256 MB SDRAM (chip part number V54C3256164VDI7I).
There is a Texas Instruments chip marked 42CF13K LV08A which appears to be a Quadruple 2-Input Positive-AND Gates. I have no idea why this chip is needed.
The board is marked Winti03 PCBV2.5. I suspect the firmware may be based on wilibox since they support both the Winti and the Manga from PePWave
This page has a picture of an earlier revision of the WINTI board.
