Unlocked my first Rite Aid 6550 Camera today. It was the LCD version, and it went smoothly (I Think). As I understand it CVS and Rite Aid are the same store, but odd thing is, the colors are reversed. The LCD version is blue while the normal version is red. More than one version of the same key with bit flips can be in memory if you do not wait several hours between attempts. However your keys look very different and are either the result of recylcing or perhaps a mass upgrade of firmware. Did the camera look used? My guess is they are using essentially the same camera as was reported several months ago in Longs drug stores (with reveresed colors). Is Rite-Aid painted on the case or just stickered on? Please provide results from a vulcan pinch.

Is the "Vulcan Pinch" when you hold the Display and Shutter buttons and turn it on? The Grey Warning sticker that coverd up the port had some old glue behind it. The camera isn't painted, it has two Rite Aid stickers, one on front and one on back. Whenever you turn it on a Rite Aid splash screen comes up before it goes to "Camera Ready" status and when you turn it off it shows another splash screen with the Rite Aid logo, then shuts down.
