PV2 Shutter
I'd hate to go and trash a perfectly good PV2 to find out...but... how well does the camera work without a real shutter? I guess it works like hell...but I'm sure someone has at least taken one picture without the shutter while doing an IR mod or something.

don't trash it, while modding a pv2 for a friend i accidently killed his shutter. the camera still functions fine as far as i can tell without it. You may need to keep it held steadier, but not from my experience.

Yeah I was thinking of throwing a big SLR lens on it for kicks and giggles. Move it way forward so the focal length works out...at least partially, and play with it from there. Now that I don't need a shutter, I might go try it.
