Question about unlocking a Longs Drug 410 (Blue Color)
Hello all. I'm a newb and had great success getting a couple of PD camcorders unlocked and in use. So I saw a 410 camera at Long's Drugs here in Northern CA. It was on sale for $12, couldn't pass it up. After I got home w/ it, I started reading "how to" and faqs, on this forum. The step by step listed in the how to section is from last year and references a "hardware" unlock. Is that still the only way to unlock one of these cameras? I thought I read somewhere that unlocking is done with soft/firmware now. Also, how are drivers installed and where are they available? I downloaded pv2tool219 and libusb-win32filter-bin-0.1.12.1. Is this the software I need? If anybody has a minute to point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Steve (scb28)

you will also need C2R to unlock it.

Got it
ZAC I have that too. I thought I'd need it to unlock the camcorder but didn't. So with those three items it's unlockable with software? Thanks, Steve (scb28)

C2R will unlock the cameras and camcorders. The camcorders with 3.4 firmware dont need C2R nor do camcorders/camera that have been unlocked already.

Need help with driver install for model 410 camera
I installed pv2tool-219 and libsub-win32-filter-bin-0.1.12.1 I've looked in the pv2tool bin for a driver but it looks like the only driver their is the camcorder driver. The libsub -win32-filter-bin program doesn't seem to have any drivers. Could somebody point me to where the driver is? Thanks, Steve (scb28)
