"How Not To" scrape off bayer
After not killing any pixels with a xacto knife and getting pink where I scraped, I tried spreading Naval Jelly (phosphoric acid) with a tiny screw driver. I think going off edge into blue area killed it, but tiny wire sticking up out middle of imager doesn't seem to belong. http://www.demanufacturing.com/pv2/www/brite_eye/ff2_d01.jpg A 5.1 mm x 3.8 mm ultra 3 imager captured by its bigger brother a 6.46 mm x 4.86 mm 2mp from about an inch away flashing through white paper folded twice creating 4 layers to reduce brightness of flash.

Such activity could drive one to the dark side, but I just dismiss it as their failure to see brite lite (lacking patented extended dynamic imagers in their expensive cameras).
