Remember to celebrate Pee On Earth Day June 21
Just in case anyone didn't know, Pee On Earth Day is nearly here for the Northern hemisphere. Pee On Earth Day, a day to bring one's urine outside to nourish plants and save water used to flush toilets, will be June 21 in the northern hemisphere (Dec. 21 in the southern hemisphere). Women who want to celebrate on the opposite hemisphere's day can celebrate by writing their name in the snow. (See question seven) While I am placing my order for the book Liquid Gold I think I will order one of each of Carol Steinfeld's other books.

that sounds very disgusting :( What's disgusting about saving water and providing nutrients to plants at the same time? What IS disgusting is using clean water to "flush away" our "waste" through an expensive system of pipes where it arrives at an unsightly and smelly treatment plant.

A contrarian might ask how you plan to wash your hands with soap and water after doing the disgusting thing on June 21st. You want disgusting - when I used to go on photo shoots in the woods after drinking a café latte, there were occasions that I did what bears do! Does anyone else avoid swimming in a lake when "Tide" soap bubbles are visible along the beach?
