Keycatch instructions have been provided before, but I doubt Brite-eye will be posting them again. Your best bet would be to ask around to see if anyone still has the code. But keycathing in the future could provide to be futile if PD is indeed looking to be rid of any remaining m410's. The only people who would be able to preform the nicely done hack would be people who have a m400/m410. But that will only hold true if the PD stations continue to support those models. If that falls through, we will all be SOL.

I too have a couple 230s bought in different states recently that have the dreaded 17 challenge. They were in different packaging, red letters on the sticker, battery pulltabs, and very different firmware (23.84 & 53.18 ). This AM I found a store in NY with blue stickers, no pull tab and 53.03 firmware, maybe this one will work ... BTW - The 360 degree USB aapters look like a good candidate for a flip-out USB case mod ... Can't wait to try it. I hope that someone can help with these two responses ... I'd have to give my cam to the CVS guy .. I'd never be able to shop there again :shock: Anyway, you think that CVS will still 'develop' it after I wire it up? Or will the dangling wires and blobs of solder scare them? You got it rite about the PD bottom line .. a lot of people buy a lot of cams looking for a sweet one.
