Request A Response To Your Challenge here.
I've posted this topic to allow a place where people can request responses to their camcorder challenges. If anyone wants to respond, just PM the requester with the goods. If someone sends you a matching response via PM, just edit your original post here to let people know that you're set. Anybody using the keycatch/extended-unlock methods to obtain responses must do so with the informed consent of the CVS person in charge of the machine and their manager. This forum and its admins do not promote or abide by fraudulent activities.

As of now, we can't calculate responses for an 09 challenge, correct?

Duggasco- 05-15-2007

nevermind, success by myself

Damn ease up on the begging.

Brite, I think you need to repost your keycatch for the new people.

Brite, I think you need to repost your keycatch for the new people. My first priority is to successfully complete a camcorder keycatch.

I'm still digging through the pv2 code with visions of a multiple key catch patch dancing in my head. It would read a file containing many challenges and catch and write their responses to another file. Someone else may well accomplish this first, but in the process I am learning more about the hardware registers and documenting the firmware functions.

It would read a file containing many challenges and catch and write their responses to another file. Someone else may well accomplish this first, but in the process I am learning more about the hardware registers and documenting the firmware functions. I had code to do up to 10 - simply using an expanded nvram.dat file and taking advantage of its rewrite on power down. Most Techs give up after a few attempts but I did have one Manager that kept on trying - even blowing several times on the connector hole. The only thing I was able to determine from those academic (no real keys involved) efforts was that a block chaining algorithm was being used prior to 09 keys. I have requested in another thread that others check to see if block chaining is still be used for the new 09 keys. Sorry BillW for diverging from the intent of this thread.

Ya tonight I had 1 tech try 4 times and then handed it off to another one for a few more tried. My cam has no stickers on it...they swore up and down it must not be there camera, they were comparing it to a 510.

But I'm sure that someone out there who's smarter than I am will be able to figure this thing out eventually.
