Rite Aid Blue wont ready While I was repairing a broken shutter wire something went wrong. I work with two other people here and they both told me the cap had been discharged and was safe for work. Right about the time I was done with the shutter I saw a spark jump from the flash board to my vice. When I checked the cap voltage it was at about 75v. I didnt think much of the sparks till I turned on the cam and no ready light came on.
I check every thing i could think of and I just couldnt see anything wrong so I assumed I killed my flash board, I dug out a old brick (burned off connecter point) and replaced it.
Now when I turn on the cam it shows the Rite Aid splash then goes to the next screen as it should but just stays there. The shutter seems to work fine and it opens just like it sould. I checked the cap and it seems to be holding a charge right at about 300v.
I would just buy a new cam but I have little to no (most of the time none) money.
If you have any info that may help me that would be great lol, right now I willing to try just about anything.
thanks

Do the TypeIDs of both cameras match?
Wouldn't it be easier to repair the camera with the burned off connector point?

Yes both cams have the same TypeID. Also both flash boards have the model and rev. number.
And no it would not be easyer to fix the other one cus it has been used for parts and the only thing left is the CPU and flash chips.
