If it wasn't SPI, why would forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=3495>they silkscreen "USB2 2 SPI" on the PCB of the processing station insert?

Chalk one up for the clean recycled North! Take two away from the Red South - one from pyro in Texas and one from pix in Georgia!

Hmmm... can't really explain the USB22SPI label. But I am reasonably certain of three things: a) USB signals do not change into SPI signals without some silicon help, b) there's only one chunk of silicon visible on the board, and c) nothing says (or even hints) that this silicon plays SPI. For today I'll stick with my MemoryStick brainstorm. :!: :D

no SPI? that microcontroller has GPIO!

I bet they sell more cameras we can hack then they do the ones we cant hack.

This site and the great peop;e here are the best thing to happen to PD. If the hackers and the modders were not here there sales would hae stayed low, and little to no word of mouth would have got out. So I think PD should at least say thanks.

Chalk one up for the clean recycled North! Take two away from the Red South - one from pyro in Texas and one from pix in Georgia! My response was to ZAC's post of an Ebay link to the RS232 <-> USB converter, not the processing station insert.

Whoops, I probably didn't follow that link. So Texas goes 1 up (or should that be bell y up). And maybe pix is also right about mmc, but I'll wait for our recycled-borat to give him a thumbs up:
