Stupid Question Hi All,
Great forum, and wonderful info. After a lot of sweat, unlocked both the blue and the red and unlocked the firmware. :D But now I'm a bit confused. I see that the PV2 I can download the RAW images and such, but when I load the chez or flatfoto drivers, it cannot find the camera. I verified that the PID was loaded for both cameras in the inf files, and also deleted the camera driver from XP and then when it tries to load, point it to either the Flatfoto one or chez but to know avail. It looks like when I click in th driver tab in device manager it is still refering to libusb-win32-device-bin-0.1.10.1. Any help would be appriciated. I cannot wait to pull the photos :D

You can basically have only one (1) USB driver installed at a time.
So, you can have libusb - which lets you use PV2Tool - or you can have USB driver that's part of the camera drivers. But not both. :-\
Yes, this sorta sucks.
One approach is to use PV2Tool to permanently unlock your camera. Then switch to the camera-specific USB driver and leave PV2Tool behind. (I can't remember - offhand - the procedure for switching this. But I know it's here in the forum somewhere...)
Another approach - if you have two or more physical USB ports - is to setup libusb for the camera on one port and the camera-specific driver on another port. This'll let you keep using both apps, but you'll have to remember which physical port goes to which app.
Good luck!

You might also care to try pv2fetch (see applications section). It will work with libusb as you have it, and download the RAWs and convert to jpegs.
Some have even reported that they prefer it to the ff2 processing.

Ended up trying pv2fetch. Worked great! Now I'm off to the camcorder deal to try that :D Thanks

I'm a total pv2fetch fan, but I'm still hanging out to be able to drag and drop RAWs onto it in a NTSF formatted hard drive system...
So BillW, after you solve the 33.04 and hardened 3.7 camcorder issues will you have time to look at fetch again?? :=)

It's totally on the list, but unfortunately it's a very long list. ;)
I'll take a look, say in the next week or two, and see what I can do about it.
