Vista OS problem
Hi all... Using older computer with Win2000, using camcorderkit21...etc.. all is perfect. However, using Vista OS on other computer, software seems incompatible with OS. Suspect the problem may be with Libusb0.dll (Vista's version seems different than what software likes to use) Anyone run into this problem with Vista or have a work around? thanks in advance to this great group for past super help. steveo

try using an older version of libusb. when i had vista on my pc, the only version that i could get working was this; http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=78138&use_mirror=voxel&filename=libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.8.0.exe&484454&-*test*-('")ing=1 be warned though, not all computers are the same. with any other version of libusb on my vista pc, all of my usb devices ceased to work untill i was able to uninstall it and try again. so, unless you have at least a serial type keyboard that you could use if something went wrong, you might want to just stick with your xp.
