WAVY picture HELP !
I am trying to get decent pictures on my camera. But I keep getting a wavy picture. Below is the one from Sunday http://www.vimeo.com/1539612 See the video below and see what I mean http://www.vimeo.com/1554178 My setting when I took it were at 320x240 7 minutes and ultra high resolution. I just set it down to 320x240 medium resolution 7 minutes and will try again. If there is a setting that will help get rid of it...What is it ?

As soon as I read your post - I thought 'bet you put it on a helicopter'. I saw a less pronounced effect but mine was more solidly mounted. Here is an explanation of the effect you are most likely experiencing: Most CMOS image sensors feature the rolling shutter architecture to control exposure time. The camera does not take an instant 'snapshot' of an entire scene, rather the image is taken progressively, one imaging line at a time. Each line is a new view of the subject at a different time, so if the subject is moving, it appears distorted. You can mitigate and reduce the effect but I do not think you can elliminate it completely in your application.

Tightened up the mounts a little and changed settings again to 340x240 highest resolution 7 minutes long. Looks pretty good so far.. http://www.vimeo.com/1569223
