Where can I get an unlocked firmware.bin
I have tried everything I read here but I just could NOT unlock the camera. The key I got did not work. All other methods requires a unlock firmware. If I can't unlock mine, how can I have a copy of the unlocked? I am just desperate :( HELP ME PLEASE!

You can't Its a catch-22 kind of, which sucks horribly. But we don't want to give PD or anyone a reason to shut us down. I guess really the only thing you can do is try again... Good Luck

Thanks for all the help! I was able to unlock the camera finally! :D BUT i can not unlock the firmware. :oops: I got following message when I hit Unlock Firmware: Found the camera: SMaL Digital Camera, VID:0DCA PID:0027 Found camera. Connected to camera. Directory read successful. Succeeded to CD to / Succeeded at downloading FIRMWARE.BIN Found location to apply unlock patch Failed in writing FIRMWARE.BIN Failed in uploading FIRMWARE.BIN In the file list, I can see there are more than one FIRMWARE.BIN How's that possible? What I did wrong? Please help! :cry:

You may have a bad cable. If you haven't already saved a complete dump of flash and a download of firmware then I recommend doing so before trying anything else. After that try a PV2Tool format.

I finally got it right! :D I probably screwed up the flash directory since it listed several files more than once. I got a good copy of the flash image, uploaded it to the camera then BOOM! It worked. Thanks for all the help!
