Second one is: I am not completly understand what this part of HowTo means: "-3. Add 27, 28, 2B, 2F, 30 to libusb.inf, right click on inf then install. " Do i have to edit libusb.inf in some editor? PV2Tool plays nicely with Ops. You need to set up a single .inf file with both the camcorder and pv2 pids in it. You can do this by opening the .inf file in notepad. You can do this by right clicking on the .inf file and choosing "Open" from the popup menu. If you used the quickinstaller or manually installed libusb-0.1.10.0 you'll need to open the .inf file and find the line that contains "VID_167b". Directly underneath it add the following: "SMaL Camera"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_0dca&PID_0024 "SMaL Camera"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_0dca&PID_0025 "SMaL Camera"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_0dca&PID_0026 "SMaL Camera"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_0dca&PID_0027 "SMaL Camera"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_0dca&PID_0028 "SMaL Camera"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_0dca&PID_0029 "SMaL Camera"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_0dca&PID_002a "SMaL Camera"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_0dca&PID_002b "SMaL Camera"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_0dca&PID_002f "SMaL Camera"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_0dca&PID_0149 "Dakota Camera, ISO"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_04fc&PID_ffff&MI_00 "Dakota Camera, Bulk"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_04fc&PID_ffff&MI_01 Save the inf, and point Windows at it when it's looking for a driver for the PV2. After that, PV2Tool should be able to find your pv2 when it's plugged in. Carpespasm, you might want to add those lines to the .inf you distribute with quickinstaller. That way the libusb you distribute will be ready to work with PV2Tool and Drmn4ea's upcoming-updated SUCR program. Awesome job BTW - I used Quickinstaller this past weekend to set up my brother-in-law's computer for the camcorder. Nice and easy.
