WTF am I doing!!!!

i really really don't mean to sound condescending, but most date-recent guides nowadays talk about using cronuskey, burningman, or both. you should have came across burningman in your travels, if you played with ALL the software you found.

I have run both burningman (changed the pc date too) and cronuskey. I have pasted the results of ops to the saturnkey.txt files and run everything. Nothing is working? What should happen after burningman? Waht kind of result or indicator should I see to let me know the cameras unlocked? Is there a hardware solution to this somewhere or is that only for a different rev camera? Thaks for your past help saturn NIGHTS but your advice (while I'm sure valid) isn't applicable to my POS camera! I've even run titan (runs under 1 click set up) I MUST be doing a single step incorrectly or out of sequence? I feel I'm fairly close as the camera is recognized by the PC is thet much true?

is it named "saturnkey.txt" or "saturnkeys.txt"? and wait, you say camera. this is a red or blue pv2 camera? or is this a "camcorder"?

I'm attempting right now using burningmankeys in notebook from the burningman gui program. I have a camcorder a 53.14 if memory serves me correctly ( I nerve pinched it about a month ago) I'm not sure which saturnkey or keys I used, I'll have to rechk Thanks for your continued interest in my efforts. Well, that was a bust! So was a gui version of cronuskeys I got a runtime error on that one! I have to beleive this is possible! I can see the camera!!! there has to be a way to justify dumping 30 bills on this POS!

Thank You Nicknaggriff!!! I'll give that one a shot. What was used to generate that and why is mine different when it comes from burningman gui? I'd like to know what I've been doing incorrectly ( I really appreciate you effort and the resulting callenge and response codes) as I strive for self sufficency and to not burnden others (soft/firm ware has never been my strong point. I'm a hardware guy! I was out looking at another camera last night they all seem to be 230s with red or blue stickers. Which is more desirable? there's a glitch in the ms crypto api in certiain installations. i can't generate keys right now since i accidently nuked my copy of burningman. thanks for the keygen, nick.

Nicknaggriff: I did as you instructed I copied your challenge and response into a word doc named saturnkeys.txt. I placed that file in the folder with Ops-02.3 In that folder are another folder called Ops source 2 text files: changelog and GPL 4 versions of libusb (only one loads and runs w/o errors ) and my word doc. I am STILL unable to unlock my camcorder! Should the word doc go into the ops source folder? the libusb that runs is 0.1.12.1 Should I admit defeat and get another camera??? If II use you c&r in cronuskey would that work? If I'm not running ops then what is my interface prgm with the camera if I used BM or Cronuskey? My device manager lets me see the camera "settings" but I'm unsure of the significance of that? I hate to be stumped but I am getting very discouraged. Even with your help and Saturn Nights help success seems difficult.

use notepad, not microsoft word. and are you using "ops 0.23"? your challenge will only run in burningman. it should be in the same folder as the ops executables, and the version ran should match the version of libusb you installed. something dumb is being missed here, i'm just having a difficult time locating it.

Saturn Nights, You hit the nail on the head when you said something dumb!!! I'm just getting too bruised up (from banging my head against the wall) to figure it out! I am going over everything step by step and still feel like I'm p*ssing into the wind! Thanks again for your time and efforts!

plug your cam. into the computer. Run ops. Open, unlock. Post what the debug screen says. Then post a pic of where you placed the saturnkeys.txt file, and its content.
