When I run pv2tool 2.19 with the new OPS21 using the libusb0 version 1.12 I get an error. Is it possible to upgrade pv2tool to work with the new version of libusb?

Hey, first off I'm not expert. But.....I was having similar problems - could get the camcorders to work but not pv2tool. ZAC on the forum told me to go back to version 1.10 of libusb. I had to remove 1.12 through add/remove programs first. Then I ran the libusb 1.10 filter install. Additionally, for me anyway, I had to replace the various versions of libusb0.dll in the system files. I actually had more than 1 copy of libusb0.dll in 2 different locations within the Windows folder, so you'll probably want to search and be sure you replace all of them.

After that - SUCCESS!! I just finished this up a few minutes ago and the video cams work and the model 410 digital camera works as well (ops21 and pv2tools). I also had to use the legal pin-shorting method in the how-to's to get everything working.

Hope this helps you out! Smile

Thanks, Helps a lot. I wonder if ops 21 can be bundled with libusb v 1.10 so we don't get in this trouble?

If anyone is still looking at this post, please see the "Application" section of the forum, as there is new tool that uses the same code in Linux and Windows and works with both the digital cameras and the digital camcorders all in one program.
