I just want to say hi to the members and owner here. I am the owner of the Camera Hacker web site and the author of the Hacking Digital Cameras book. I ventured upon this site today while reading the Popular Photography magazine (even though I believe this site is also linked from somewhere on my web site). The December 2005 issue of Popular Photography featured my Camera Hacker web site and mentioned several of my hacks. But the magazine mistakenly used CAMERAHACKING.COM rather than CAMERAHACKER.COM.

I think this mistake is a blessing for everyone participating at this web site. And I'm glad to see you all doing more with your cameras. Keep up the good work.

Stop by the bookstore to see this web site and my web site published in the current issue of Popular Photography. If you are the owner of this web site, you might want to pick up a copy, show it to your friends, and get a good laugh out of it.

Chieh

Welcome Chieh.

I'd previoulsy stumbled into your site and did notice a link back to here. I also noticed that you have done something we have not - pursuit of hacks for non Pure Digital cameras.

There are currently 9 admins here, 1 that owns the domain name, and 1 that is the forumer site admin (I am neither of those 2).

I saw the misprint at Barnes & Nobles last night. Very amusing. We should keep an eye on the visitor stats to see if we receive an increase of traffic as a result.

I also had the chance to check out www.camerahacker.com and it looks like a very nice impressive site. I will have to delive into more this weekend. Welcome, Chieh.
